City Attorney

Appointed by the City Council, the City Attorney is responsible for providing legal services to the City of Glendora including the City Council, the various City Boards and Commissions, as well as City departments and officers.

City Clerk

The City Clerk is the local official for elections, local legislation, the Public Records Act, the Political Reform Act, and the Brown Act (open meeting laws).

City Manager

The City Manager is appointed by the City Council and serves as the administrative head of the City. The City Manager is responsible for the operation of all City departments, providing leadership, direction, and guidance.

Districts

The City of Glendora is divided into five Council districts, and each Councilmember is elected by the voters residing within a specific geographic Council district area in incorporated areas of Glendora.

Elections

General Municipal Elections to elect council members in the City of Glendora are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year.

City Council

Five City Council members are elected by districts and serve four-year (staggered) terms of office. Following each election, the Council selects from its membership a Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem.

Finance Department

The Finance Department manages City revenues, expenditures, utility collections, public counter services, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, grants, and prepares payment of all obligations for review and approval by the City Council.

The Glendora City Council, Commissions and Boards acting in an advisory capacity to assist City Council, conduct meetings open to the public to address the management of City affairs.

Housing Authority/CDBG

The Glendora Housing Authority is the Housing Successor to the Glendora Redevelopment Agency. Per California State Law, effective February 1, 2012, redevelopment agencies across California are dissolved.

Human Resources

The City's Human Resources team provides assistance and guidance to all City employees and testing and selection for all City Departments in order to hire and retain a highly skilled team of employees.
