Bidwell Forum and Plaza at Public Library

The Bidwell Forum, located on the second floor of the Public Library, is a versatile space spanning 2,800 square feet. It features a 50 square foot kitchenette equipped with a sink and small refrigerator. Bidwell Forum offers various rental equipment, including wireless and lapel microphones, a laptop, and an overhead projector.

Room amenities include tables and chairs, making it suitable for different types of events. It can accommodate up to 389 people for assembly-style gatherings and 200 for seated events.

Whether you're hosting a meeting, workshop, or presentation, Bidwell Forum provides a convenient and well-equipped environment.

Groups reserving Bidwell Forum may also use the Library Plaza.  Additional guidelines apply when reserving the Plaza.

Information regarding the reservation of Public Library meeting rooms:

  • Reservations are taken no more than 6 months in advance of an event
  • A completed application is required of all groups for each meeting held
  • Upon application approval, any applicable fees must be paid at least 2 weeks in advance of the meeting date
  • Meeting/events held beyond normal library open hours are subject to staff availability for facility supervision
  • Groups may reserve a room in blocks of no more than 3 meetings, requests are limited to one meeting per month
  • Tables and chairs may not be placed in the lobby except with prior written approval by Library Administration
