WHAT: Metro personnel and local First Responders will conduct an emergency drill at the Metro A Line (North)
WHEN: Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 9AM to 12PM
WHERE: In the area of Mile Post 28 midway between the Glendora and San Dimas Stations

Summary

As part of Metro’s A Line (North) Rail line, Metro personnel and local First Responders will conduct an emergency drill at the Metro A Line (North) on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 9AM to 12PM. The emergency drill will take place at the Metro A Line (North) in the area of Mile Post 28 midway between the Glendora and San Dimas Stations. This emergency drill is being conducted in the event there is ever an emergency on the Metro A Line (North) Rail line.

Dates and Work Hours April 8, 2025, from 9AM to 12PM.

Location The Glendora Police Department are aware of this activity, and they have notified dispatch in the event they receive reports of the simulated smoke being used in the emergency drill. There may be a marginal increase in traffic due to the drill activity along the corresponding roads. There will be no signs of construction or street closures and there will be minimal street activity affected. Local access, pedestrian access and emergency responder access will be maintained during work activities.

What To Expect

Presence of law enforcement vehicles, emergency vehicles and personnel during the emergency drill at the Metro A Line. First responder activity and sirens leading to moderate to high frequency sounds during the hours of simulated emergency drill. Local communities may see simulated smoke and emergency vehicles behind their homes. The exercise area will be along S. Lone Hill Rd, Fawn Valley and Route 66 access gates leading to the track.

Local access, pedestrian access and emergency responder access will be maintained during work activities. The emergency drill has been coordinated with local law enforcement and first responders.
